DiveMed, in cooperation with The Waterhoppers Diving School, offers all levels of Instructor training. Our Instructor Development courses are held in May and October each year.

DiveMed offers a fun, friendly, personal and professional service to all students completing our IDC courses. There is also a lot of fun with a relaxed atmosphere during the IDC. This helps alleviate some of the stress candidates put on themselves during the IDC course.
The IDC is not just about passing the exam; it is about becoming fully prepared and confident to teach at the end of it – we make sure you are completely ready. We always keep our groups small and personal. Our Course Director,  Lee O'Flynn and Staff Instructors are always on hand to help with all aspects of the IDC. Once you’ve become a PADI Instructor, you will be eager to work within your new role. DiveMed can offer their IDC candidates a work placement for the season following their IDC.

We run our IDCs with small intimate groups allowing us to focus on developing the candidates individual skills to create a more balanced Instructor.
